There are rooms where the bass doesn't just play — it lives below the waterline. On 27.06.2026, Big Bells Digital brings Darin Epsilon to one of Germany's most distinctive dancefloors for his Stuttgart debut at Fridas Pier.

It's a meeting of two underground institutions: an artist who has spent two decades defining the sound of progressive and melodic house, and a venue built — quite literally — to make that sound move through you. For us, it also feels like the continuation of a story. We last shared a night with Darin at a Big Bells Records showcase in Sarajevo, and bringing that energy home to the Neckar has been a long time coming.

Fridas Pier — Stuttgart's club on the water

If you know Stuttgart's electronic scene, you know Fridas Pier. Opened in 2019, it's an 80-metre former cargo barge — once the Wilhelm Knipscheer — converted with obsessive care into a floating "Kulturwerft" moored on the Neckar in the city's east. Steel, concrete and old crane gear meet art, culture and electronic music in one of the most atmospheric club settings in southern Germany.

In conversation with Darin Epsilon

Q1 (Big Bells) "Fridas Pier has one of the most dedicated underground crowds in Stuttgart — what kind o music did you prepare for your debut in the city, any new music from you or your music label?

(Darin) Yea, for sure! I am bringing with me several new tracks that I've finished, as well as a bunch of fresh upcoming tracks on Perspectives Digital. Stuttgart will be the first ones to hear them!

Q2 (Big Bells) "You've been incredibly active on the international circuit — what does the rest of 2026 look like for you in terms of gigs, and are there any cities or events on the horizon that you're especially excited about?"

(Darin) After Stuttgart, I'll be traveling to Türkiye for Sonance Festival, the largest electronic music gathering in the capital. From there, I also have additional dates in Mexico, United States, Spain, and Hungary. The show I'm most definitely excited for is Rave The Planet in Berlin! Formerly known as the Love Parade, it's always been a dream of mine to take part in this massive celebration. At its peak popularity, they had 1.5 million people in attendance.

Q3 (Big Bells) "You're someone who clearly moves between the DJ booth and the studio with equal conviction. We know you for your hard work, dedication and professionalism — how does your touring, studio and label running feed into your creative process, and do you manage your time?

(Darin) For me, they all feed into each other. Touring keeps me connected to the dancefloor, the studio allows me to turn those experiences into music, and running a label exposes me to new artists, ideas, and trends. As for time management, it's really about staying organized and prioritizing what's most important at any given moment.

We love music! Let's work together ❤️
