klangverwandt ‒ that’s Sascha (Hanover) and Markus (Stuttgart). United by their
shared passion for electronic music, the two first teamed up as a DJ duo in 2016.
Since then, klangverwandt have stood for a distinctive sound between melodic
house and driving techno ‒ sometimes deep and atmospheric, sometimes powerful
and minimal, but always with heart and groove.
In 2019, Sascha and Markus officially joined forces as a duo, shaping the electronic
scene with their versatile style ‒ both on air and live on dancefloors across Europe.
Their regular radio shows have become an integral part of their musical identity: ‒
Theez Germans Radio Show (Househeadsradio / Dishfm, 2019‒2021) ‒ Melodisch
(212.Radio.UK, 2022) ‒ Saturday Night Dance Party ‒ streaming monthly since
2016 live on twitch.tv/klangverwandt.
Through these shows and DJ sets, klangverwandt have played in cities such as
Manchester, Liverpool, London, Amsterdam, Ghent, Ayia Napa, and Lille.
Currently, they are collaborating with the Stuttgart/Boblingen-based label Big Bells
Records and the associated agency BigBellsDigital. As part of this cooperation,
they host the monthly DJ podcast “Big Bells and Friends” and will release their
debut single “Faces” on Big Bells Records in April 2025.
With a clear focus on melodic depth, emotion, and club energy, klangverwandt
embody the perfect fusion of sound, soul, and substance ‒ a sonic language that
connects.
