Another friend from ours is just joined with an exclusive one-hour progressive house mix. Big Bells Family is welcoming one of the pioneers for progressive house sound from the Netherlands, dear friend is Deacon Cross. Deacon Cross is a music producer and DJ, who back in 1998 was rocking the dance floor of "Basement" at that time the largest club in Rotterdam. Deacon spent 7 years as a resident in this club and he was all vinyl.
Later Decon was also active in music production and he worked in a music records store. He was all viny, so as the industry changed from vinyl to CDs it was really hard for him to accept this and he took a break from music and his residency in the "Basement" club in Rotterdam.
We found something special about our friend Deacon because, as he took a break from music, he went to study theology to become a deacon in the Catholic Church. He completed that degree and was ordained a deacon in 2018 to serve in a parish, so this is something special for us. The man who loves music and art also shares love, hope, and faith.
He is a modern man, an ordinary DJ on the one hand, and a man of God on the other. This is what makes this guy special!
He also started again with music production, with a few releases on Future Avenue from Belgium.
